This position will provide students with hands-on-experience working with archaeological material culture
and in collections management procedures.
Duties:
To assist with the Bureau of Indian Affairs (BIA) archaeological collections housed at the University of New
Mexico’s Maxwell Museum of Anthropology. Duties include organizing archaeological collections by
identifying, sorting, tagging, and re-housing artifacts, and performing artifact data entry for BIA collections.
Other duties as assigned.
