Position Summary:
Responsible for delivering all facets of talent acquisition success throughout the organization. Develop local and national recruiting plans utilizing traditional sourcing strategies and resources and new innovative recruitment approaches. Responsibilities include applicant qualifying, driving the recruiting process, offers and on-boarding of new hires; collaborating with hiring managers on strategy and implementation to attract the highest caliber of applicant possible. Ensure adherence to Hospitals and departmental policies and procedures. No patient care assignment.

- HIRING - Ensure that properly qualified employees are recruited and hired for open positions
- ON-BOARDING - Communicate the policies and benefits of the Hospitals, participate in orientation and initiate payroll records for new employees
- RECRUITMENT STRATEGY - Develop recruiting strategies to attract minority applicants
- SCREENING - Review minimum qualification standards and check internal and external applicant pool for qualified candidates
- JOB FAIRS - Assist in the preparation of job fairs, college recruitment drives, and special employment and Human Resources events
- COMMUNITY - Establish and maintain rapport with community agencies and academic institutions
- REFERENCE CHECKS - Assist in conducting reference checks on selected applicants and ensures tracking
- ADVERTISEMENTS - Assist in preparing and proof-reading advertisements for recruitment
- TRENDS - Evaluate trends in recruitment and the job market to recommend recruitment strategies
- COMPLIANCE - Ensure compliance with various applicable state and federal regulations
- DEVELOPMENT - Enhance professional growth and development through participation in educational programs, reading current literature, attending in-services, meetings and workshops
- CUST SATISFACTION - Ensure recruiting practices that promote customer satisfaction for employees and candidates for employment
- BACKGROUND CHECKS - Ensure all appropriate reference and background checks are completed for new hires
- RECRUITMENT SERVICES - Participate in providing recruiting services to departments as needed
