UNM Medical Group, Inc. is hiring for a Data Governance Coordinator to join our UNM Health System team. This opportunity is a full-time day shift opening located in New Mexico. This opportunity is a REMOTE, full-time, day shift opening located in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
The Data Governance Coordinator supports the Health System data governance program by
coordinating governance activities, maintaining governance tools and documentation, and facilitating
communication across clinical, operational, and administrative domains. This role ensures
governance processes operate efficiently and consistently across departments, supporting data
quality, regulatory compliance, stewardship engagement, and enterprise reporting integrity. The
Data Governance Coordinator partners closely with Data Governance leadership, data stewards,
analytics teams, IT, compliance, and operational leaders to advance data quality, governance
maturity, and sustain standardized data practices.
Minimum Job Requirements
Education: High School Diploma or General Education Diploma required.
Experience
Verification of education and licensure (if applicable) will be required if selected for hire.

- Salary is determined based on years of total relevant experience.
- Salary is based on 1.0 FTE (full time equivalent) or 40 hours per week. Less than 40 hours/week will be prorated and adjusted to the appropriate FTE.
