Job Summary

The Occupational Therapist is responsible for evaluating, assessing, and developing treatment plans, while also guiding clients and their families through the goals and procedures of occupational therapy. This role involves conducting screenings and evaluations, creating tailored treatment strategies, and setting meaningful, functional goals to support the client and their family in reaching developmental milestones.

  • This is a part-time position with the opportunity to grow into a full-time role if desired.

What you'll do:

  • Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations and write detailed reports.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on evaluations and client needs.
  • Provide direct therapy services in individual and/or small group settings.
  • Collaborate closely with families, caregivers, and team members to provide education and support.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation for all services provided.
  • Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and contribute to client progress discussions.
  • Assist in the development of sensory-friendly environments and therapeutic activities.
  • Stay current on best practices in pediatric occupational therapy and continuing education.


What you'll bring:

  • Current and valid Occupational Therapy license in the state of Illinois.
  • Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Compassionate, creative, and committed to helping children succeed.
  • Experience working with children with autism and developmental disabilities preferred.
  • Strong understanding of sensory processing, fine/gross motor development, and self-help skill training.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to stand and stay on their feet for prolonged periods and bend, kneel, crouch, and lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Ability to create and implement treatment plans and provide progress updates.

We offer effective and intensive one-on-one therapy to children diagnosed with Autism, developmental disorders, and behavioral disorders.
