Commercial Service Technician

Pay: Up to $45/hour | Full-time
Up to $10,000 Sign-On Bonus for Experienced Candidates!
Duffy's AIS is looking for an experienced Commercial Service Technician to join our team! If you have a background in commercial refrigeration, HVAC, commercial kitchen equipment, or a related trade, this is an opportunity to put your skills to work while continuing to grow your expertise.
What You Will Do
As a Commercial Refrigeration Service Technician, you'll be the face of Duffy's AIS in the field, helping our customers keep their businesses running. Your day-to-day work will include:
- Troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing commercial kitchen equipment
- Perform preventative maintenance and emergency service calls
- Provide professional, courteous customer service
- Communication with customers, dispatchers, managers, and Sales
- Order parts and complete service paperwork
- Maintain your service vehicle
- Participating in an on-call rotation and ongoing training
Equipment You Will Work On
You will work with a wide variety of commercial refrigeration and food service equipment, including:
Walk-In/Reach-In Coolers & Freezers * Prep Tables * Ice Machines * Ovens * Fryers * Compressors and more!
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of commercial refrigeration, HVAC, commercial kitchen equipment, or related service experience; 5 years preferred.
- Strong electrical, electronic, and mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Dependable, organized, and professional
- Valid driver's license and driving record that meets company safety standards
- Ability to successfully complete a background check and drug screen
- Must be at least 18 years old
Preferred Qualifications
- 5 years of commercial refrigeration, HVAC, and/or foodservice service experience
- EPA 608 Certification
- CFESA Certification
- Factory training or related manufacturer certifications
- Related military experience
