Job Summary
The Logistics Operations Support Coordinator plays a key administrative role in supporting day-to-day transportation operations at Unlimited Logistics. This position focuses on execution, communication, and load tracking to ensure shipments move smoothly and on time. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, dependable, and comfortable working behind the scenes in a fast-paced logistics environment. This is an operations support role — not sales and not commission-based.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform carrier check calls to confirm load status and transit updates
- Build, update, and track loads within the transportation management system (TMS)
- Assist with scheduling pickup and delivery appointments
- Complete customer and carrier check calls through online portals
- Ensure accurate and timely updates to load information and shipment milestones
- Communicate regularly with internal operations teams to support daily execution
- Help identify and escalate issues that may impact service or delivery timelines
- Provide occasional weekend coverage as required to support operations
Qualifications
- Prior experience in logistics, transportation, or an administrative operations role preferred
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and shifting priorities
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
- Comfortable working independently and following established processes
- Familiarity with TMS platforms and logistics portals is a plus
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office or similar tools preferred
