This is a full-time, on-site role for a Payroll Specialist, based in Lihue, HI. The Payroll Specialist will handle payroll processing, administer payroll services, and ensure compliance with payroll taxes and regulations. Responsibilities include managing garnishments, maintaining records, and ensuring timely and accurate payroll operations. This role requires a high level of accuracy, confidentiality, and ability to meet deadlines effectively.
- Experience in Payroll Administration and proficiency in Payroll Processing
- Familiarity with Payroll Services and knowledge of Payroll Taxes
- Understanding of Garnishments procedures and related compliance
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency in payroll software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines with accuracy
- Previous experience in construction or related industries is a plus
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional certifications in payroll processing are a plus
