Position Overview
The Junior Sales Executive is responsible for generating new business opportunities and expanding UC Group’s customer base within fleets’ repair & maintenance and other fleet services sector. This entry-level role is ideal for a motivated self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is eager to grow within a dynamic and evolving industry. While prior industry experience is a plus, it is not required. The ideal candidate is driven, confident, and focused on outbound prospecting and client engagement.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Actively source and pursue new sales leads through cold calling, networking, visiting prospective and existing customers, and market research
- Build and maintaina robust pipeline of prospective clients across various service offerings, including but not limited to repairs & maintenance, road side assistance, receivables factoring, freight broker age and parking
- Conduct introductory meetings to assess client needs and present appropriate solutions
- Collaborate with internal teams to prepare customized proposals and pricing strategies
- Track sales activity and maintain accurate records of client interactions
- Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets for new business
- Provide feedback to sales leadership regarding market trends and customer needs
- Onboard new customers and actively work on improving the onboarding process
Skills and Requirements
- 0–2 years of experience in a sales or client-facing role (transportation/logistics experience a strong plus)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Highly motivated, competitive, and goal-oriented
- Comfortable making cold calls and engaging with prospects via phone, email, and in person
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to thrive both independently and as part of a team
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; CRM experience a plus
Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
$50,000 - $75,000 annual salary. Additional sales incentives discussed personally
