We are looking for a Customer Service/Dog Handler to join our team at UNLEASHED and lovin’ it! Dog Handlers are responsible for the supervision, control and management of daycare & boarding dogs, ensuring the safety of the playgroup. Additonal customer service duties would be handling customers, paperwork, answering phones, emails and helping with new dog evaluations, performing toe nail trims & baths and laundry.
We need someone that is responsible, hardworking, mature, has the ability to work individually and as a team. You would be working with 20 dogs in a group setting that is fast paced and physically demanding requiring you be on your feet for 5 hours a day.
QUALIFICATIONS
- High school graduate or GED preferred
- Love of dogs…any size & any breed
- Computer Skills
- Phone Skills
- Good listening & communication skills
- Previous work experience demonstrating dependability
- Previous experience providing animal care (preferred but not necessary)
- Self-motivated, independent worker
- Ability to follow instructions and learn new things
- Ability to work in a team environment
AVAILABLE SCHEDULE
We have 33 hours available. More hours may become available once training is completed. You will also have the opportunity to pick up open shifts as needed.
- Saturday - 7:00am-11:30am & 1:00pm-6:30pm
- Sunday - 7:00am-11:00am & 4:00pm-6:30pm (time and a half for the PM shift)
- Monday - 1:00pm-6:30pm
- Tuesday - 1:00pm-6:30pm
- Wednesday - 1:00pm-6:30pm
- Thursday - OFF
- Friday - OFF
Raises are given to employees…
- After a 60 day probationary period, based on job performance
- Each year on their anniversary, based on job performance

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
We are in the hospitality industry and provide service to our customers during their time off…those times include weekends, holidays & school vacations. That is why we are open 365 days a year and why we need you to be willing to work weekends & holidays.
