Lead Engineer – Microgrid & Distributed Energy Resources (DER)
Location: Menasha, WI (Onsite)
Duration: 12 Months (with potential extension)
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead the design, development, integration, and validation of Microgrid, DER, and Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) solutions.
• Define system architecture, technical requirements, and performance specifications.
• Support renewable energy integration, power conversion technologies, and grid interconnection initiatives.
• Collaborate with controls, simulation, thermal, mechanical, and power electronics teams.
• Evaluate technologies based on performance, reliability, scalability, and cost.
• Support prototype development, testing, validation, and system integration activities.
• Provide technical leadership and contribute to Energy Management Systems (EMS) and microgrid controller development.
Key Requirements:
• Strong experience with BESS, Microgrids, DER, Renewable Energy, and Power Electronics.
• Experience with system modeling, simulation, and performance analysis.
• Background in grid integration, power generation, or advanced energy systems.
• Prior technical leadership or system architecture experience is highly preferred.
Salary : $70 - $85
