Duration: 12 Months Contract
Position Overview
A healthcare system in Brooklyn, NY is seeking Board Certified or Board Eligible Interventional Radiologists to provide onsite and on-call physician services in a fast-paced clinical environment. This is an urgent staffing need with immediate start potential for qualified candidates.
Physicians will provide comprehensive Interventional Radiology services while collaborating with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to deliver high-quality patient care.
Schedule
- Monday – Friday onsite coverage
- Hours: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
- On-call coverage required during evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
- Weekend call coverage: Friday 4:30 PM through Monday 8:00 AM
- On-call physicians must be available by phone within 15 minutes and onsite within 60 minutes if called back
Responsibilities
- Perform a full range of Interventional Radiology procedures and consultations
- Provide inpatient and outpatient IR coverage
- Interpret diagnostic imaging and procedural findings
- Participate in on-call rotation for emergent IR procedures
- Document patient care accurately within the electronic medical record system
- Collaborate with referring physicians, nursing staff, and multidisciplinary teams
- Adhere to departmental clinical standards and protocols
- Maintain timely completion of consults, procedure notes, and reports
Qualifications
- MD or DO degree from an accredited institution
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Interventional Radiology
- Active, unrestricted medical license in any U.S. state or territory
- Current DEA registration
- BLS and ACLS certification
- Strong clinical and procedural experience in Interventional Radiology
- Ability to complete credentialing and privileging requirements
Compensation
- Competitive hourly compensation
- Bill rate up to $415/hour
- Long-term contract opportunity with potential extension options
