Ultrasound Technologist
Location: Douglas, WY
Position Summary
We are seeking two skilled and motivated Ultrasound Technologists to join our diagnostic imaging team in Douglas, Wyoming. The ideal candidates will be proficient in performing high-quality ultrasound examinations and providing exceptional patient care. Preference will be given to candidates who hold ARDMS certification in both OB and AB, though applicants with certification in one area and relevant experience are strongly encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality diagnostic ultrasound exams, including general, abdominal, and obstetrical studies.
- Ensure accurate image acquisition and proper documentation in accordance with departmental protocols.
- Maintain effective and compassionate communication with patients, explaining procedures and ensuring comfort.
- Collaborate with radiologists, providers, and interdisciplinary staff to support patient care and diagnostic needs.
- Maintain equipment, troubleshoot issues, and report concerns as necessary.
- Adhere to all hospital policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Participate in continuing education and professional development to maintain competencies and certifications.
- Support workflow efficiency, including assisting in other imaging areas when needed.
Qualifications
- Registered with ARDMS in OB and AB (preferred).
- Candidates with ARDMS certification in one specialty and strong clinical experience will be considered.
- Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program.
- Current BLS certification (or ability to obtain upon hire).
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to provide compassionate patient care.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Reliable, professional, and committed to maintaining high clinical standards.
Pay: $38.00 - $50.00 per hour
