Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical-Surgical

Key Responsibilities
- Provide safe, timely, and high-quality nursing care to adult and geriatric Medical-Surgical patients
- Perform comprehensive head-to-toe assessments and develop individualized care plans
- Administer medications, manage IV therapy, and monitor patient conditions
- Accurately document assessments, interventions, and patient outcomes in the EMR system
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, therapists, case managers, and interdisciplinary team members
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans, medications, discharge instructions, and follow-up care
- Identify changes in patient condition and respond appropriately during emergency situations
- Maintain a safe, organized, and supportive care environment in compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards
Qualifications
- Active Michigan Registered Nurse (RN) license required
- Minimum 1 year of Medical-Surgical RN experience preferred
- BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
- Strong clinical judgment, communication, and documentation skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced inpatient setting
