Account Manager — Univox Media | Portland, OR
Univox Media is Oregon's largest independent media buyer, and we're growing. We're looking for a motivated, relationship-driven Account Manager to join our Portland team and help brands across the Pacific Northwest and beyond get more out of their advertising dollars.
About the Role
As an Account Manager at Univox, you'll own a book of business from prospecting through campaign delivery. You'll work with clients across a wide range of industries — from regional franchises to financial services to specialty trades — and develop custom programmatic media strategies using streaming audio, video, CTV/OTT, and display. No two campaigns are the same, and neither are the conversations you'll be having.
This is a hunter role. You'll be expected to build your pipeline, run your own meetings, and close new business — but you'll have the backing of a tight-knit team and a unique market position that makes the pitch genuinely easy to believe in.
What You'll Do
- Prospect and develop new client relationships across assigned verticals and territories
- Consult with clients to understand goals and recommend tailored media strategies
- Build and present campaign proposals using programmatic, CTV, OTT, streaming audio, and display
- Manage active campaigns and deliver regular performance reporting to clients
- Collaborate with our media team to ensure campaigns are optimized and on track
- Represent Univox at local networking events and in the broader business community
What We're Looking For
- 2–5 years of experience in media sales, digital advertising, or a related field
- Familiarity with programmatic advertising concepts (CTV, OTT, streaming, display)
- Strong consultative selling skills — you listen before you pitch
- Self-starter who can manage a pipeline and hit monthly revenue targets
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Comfortable in a fast-moving, small-team environment where you have real ownership
