Job Description
We are seeking result-driven mid-to-senior-level Bankers to lead the execution of capital markets and advisory transactions. The role focuses on helping clients raise funds through equity and debt offerings, as well as providing strategic advice on mergers, acquisitions, and other complex financial transactions in close coordination with the ECM and Investment Banking teams.
The Banker will serve as a trusted strategic advisor — formulating tailored investment and financing strategies, driving end-to-end deal execution, and delivering measurable outcomes for clients. The position reports directly to the COO and Co-Head of Investment Banking at Univest Securities, offering significant visibility, autonomy, and responsibility for business growth and transaction results.
Job Responsibilities
- Drive end-to-end execution of M&A, equity, and debt financing transactions — from due diligence to closing — ensuring flawless delivery under tight timelines
- Lead and manage due diligence, drafting sessions, and preparation of key materials, including pitch books, information memoranda, and investor presentations
- Develop and apply advanced financial models and analytical frameworks to evaluate acquisitions, financing, and capital raising opportunities
- Partner closely with clients, senior bankers, and external advisors to deliver tailored, high-impact financial solutions
- Identify and anticipate financial, industry, and market risks to safeguard transaction integrity and optimize outcomes
- Build and maintain strong client relationships by providing strategic insights and actionable market intelligence
- Support firm growth by contributing to new business development and maintaining a healthy transaction pipeline
- Ensure all client solutions meet internal return, risk, and ethical standards
- Demonstrate strong execution capability, accountability, and a results-driven mindset across all initiatives
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, And Skills
- 5 years of relevant experience
- Bachelor’s degree in finance or closely related areas, master’s degree in business administration preferred
- Experience working in an investment banking institution(s)
- Impeccable communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with senior professionals, clients, and key stakeholders in other lines of business
- Understanding of the transaction cycle and the steps in the process, and is execution oriented.
- Strong analytical and financial modeling skills
- Series 79 or 7 and 63 licenses; unlicensed candidates considered, but required to obtain licenses within 90 days of start date
