Job Title: Box Office Manager
Summary Seeking an experienced Box Office Manager to lead high-volume ticketing operations for a live touring production. This role oversees multi-channel ticket sales, manages staff, ensures accurate financial reporting, and delivers excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily box office operations and ticket sales (online, phone, on-site, group)
- Hire, train, schedule, and supervise ticketing staff
- Align staffing with performance schedules and peak sales periods
- Reconcile daily sales and prepare settlement reports
- Track and report ticket sales performance
- Oversee box office setup/breakdown in each market
- Handle escalated customer issues, refunds, and exchanges
- Ensure ADA compliance and accessibility standards
- Partner with marketing on promotions and campaigns
- Provide updates to leadership as needed
Qualifications
- 3–5 years in live entertainment ticketing (theater, arena, touring, etc.)
- Experience with Ticketmaster, Archtics, Spektrix, or similar systems
- Prior supervisory experience required
- Equivalent experience/education considered
