REQUIREM

ENTSHigh school graduation or equivalent AND three years interpretation and translation experience in a clinic or hospital set

ting
AND medical interpreter certification or qualification either from Washington State Department of Social and Health Services, the National Board of Certification for Medical Interpreters, or the Certification Commission for Healthcare Interpre

ters.
Equivalent education and/or experience may substitute for minimum qualifications except when there are legal requirements, such as a license, certification, and/or registr
