Working with support from shared services, the HR Director partners with the Executive Director, Health Center Administrator and the leadership team establishing strategic direction supporting the community’s core values. The Human Resources Director will be responsible for planning and executing the Human Resources initiatives and compliance activities for the Community including:
- Partners with the Executive Director and Administrator promoting and supporting the core STAR Values and related programs across the Community including employee talent development, recognition and suggestion programs, employee communications and events. Coordinates training programs, assisting department heads in the development and implementation of short-range and long-range staff development plans.
- In partnership with HR shared services, manages all recruitment activities for the Community including the sourcing, screening and ongoing communication with candidates through the entire recruitment and onboarding process.
- Establishing standards and ensuring complete personnel files for all employees in compliance with all legal requirements.
- Responsible for the administration of all employee benefit programs, management of local Wellness Program, reviewing and maintaining employee insurance eligibility.
- As co-chair of Safety Committee gathers, reviews and disseminates information on employee safety and health, keeping abreast of changes in OSHA requirements. Works with third party administrator reporting accidents and managing workers compensation cases.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management or related field.
- 10 years of Human Resources management experience, preferably in a related industry.
- Minimum 5 years supervisory experience required.
- Comprehensive knowledge of state and federal labor regulations, personnel administration, employee relations, compensation and benefits administration, recruiting and selection, and training and development.

Salary : $120,000 - $125,000
