Reporting to the Executive Director of Advancement Information Systems, the Assistant Director oversees the day-to-day operation of the Advancement Constituent relationship Management (CRM) system of record. In addition, the Assistant Director performs business analysis services and provides user and technical support for the 600 users of advancement software and services. Business analysis includes the analysis and optimization of business work flows supporting of each Consortium institution The objective of the business analysis function will be to develop the requirements, develop and implement plans, and manage IT software development, services and solution implementation to address the business function requirements. The IT support function includes computer and software analysis, configuration, programming, database maintenance, long-range planning for software usage and upgrades, and systems management of the Advancement CRM. This position will also supervise three Systems Analysts, one Trainer and two Data Analyst. This position will be an internal lead/coordinator for change management for the CRM as well as the liaison for data exchange including standards and process optimization.
Physical Demands:
Traditional office environment with majority of time spent using a computer.
Preferences:
At least seven years of experience in software support and database -management, including at least five years of experience with Salesforce or other cloud based CRM solutions, MuleSoft or other data exchange tools relational database structures, and UNIX and Windows operating systems and at least 3 years of supervisory experience.

-Business Analysis knowledge to include firsthand knowledge of the fundraising business.
-Technical knowledge to include, relational database management such as Oracle, client/server environment, and UNIX and Windows operating systems.
-Ability to manage multiple tasks and multiple priorities, set priorities and deadlines.
-Excellent communications skills.
-Ability to effectively communicate with team and customers in a fast-paced environment is a necessity.
-Technical knowledge to include developing/maintaining applications that interface/integrate with a cloud based CRM.
-Ability to perform multiple tasks, set priorities and meet deadlines.
-Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
-Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
-A strong command of the English language.
Minimum Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university. Experience: Seven (7) years of professional information technology experience. Two (2) years of experience supervising or managing professional staff. Other: Additional work experience as defined above may be substituted on a year for year basis for up to four (4) years of the required education. Knowledge of tools and technology utilized to support instruction. Skill in oral and written communication. Skill in the use of Google Office products. Ability to perform multiple tasks, set priorities, and meet deadlines. Ability to multitask while demonstrating a commitment to customer service and sensitivity to a culturally and ethnically diverse community.
