Busy vascular office seeking a dedicated Certified Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. Epic EMR experience is a big plus.
**Responsibilities:**
- Assist healthcare providers in patient examinations and ensuring that clinic operates smoothly
- Perform basic medical procedures including rooming patients, taking vitals, medication reconciliation
- Maintain accurate patient records and assist with medical documentation
- Provide exceptional patient service and care with empathy and professionalism
- Handle medical administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and managing patient flow
**Requirements:**
- Certification as a Medical Assistant
- Proficiency in electronic medical charting, medical terminology and anatomy knowledge
- Competancy and certification in BLS
- Ability to perform clinical tasks such as taking vital signs and assisting with clinic procedures as needed
- Strong interpersonal skills for effective patient interaction
- Prior experience in patient care and medical administrative support
- Ability to manage stress and flex with whatever challenges the day brings
