University Radiology, the largest provider of subspecialty radiology and teleradiology services in NJ, is comprised of over 200 Board Certified radiologists with advanced U.S.-based training and expertise in all modalities and all subspecialty areas. In operation for more than 60 years, University Radiology staffs, manages and provides preliminary and final subspecialty interpretations and consultative support for hospitals, imaging centers and other medical facilities, and serves as the academic radiology faculty at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. Our physicians interpret over 2.1 million radiology procedures per year.
Responsibilities
University Radiology is looking for a full-time Ultrasound Technologist - FLOAT to our Central Region, NJ Imaging Office.
Monday- Friday, rotating Saturdays; Various shifts covering multiple offices in our central region
*This shift is eligible for a 10% float differential for all hours that apply under our policy.
In addition to being RVT certified, our Ultrasound Vascular Techs are also required to be certified in Abdomen, Breast, and OB/GYN. Ultrasound Vascular Techs must be certified in RVT and at least one of these areas to qualify. URG will reimburse for educational materials and exams for additional certifications, as well as a bonus once obtained.
Qualifications
- ARDMS Registered in Abdomen, Breast, OB/GYN
- Minimum of 2 years of work experience
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Pay Range:
From $42/hr
The rate provided is based on industry standards for candidates with 0 – 5 years of experience. Salary determinations will be made based on numerous factors including but not limited to years of experience, education and operational needs.
