University Radiology is looking for a highly skilled and compassionate Full Time CT Technologist to join our dynamic imaging team. In this position, you will play a critical role in patient care and will float to our Central, NJ Imaging Offices, located in Warren, Bridgewater, & Edison.
Key Responsibilities
- Patient Care and Safety Position patients, explain procedures, and shield them from unnecessary radiation.
- Imaging Operations Operate CT scanners, adjust equipment, and produce high-quality diagnostic images
- Contrast Administration Prepare and inject contrast dye, often intravenously, to enhance image visibility, and monitor for reactions.
- Technical Setup Perform scanner calibration and daily quality checks.
- Documentation Maintain patient records and review images with physicians for accuracy.
- this position qualifies for float differential pay
- May be required to perform duties in or near areas containing specialized imaging equipment and must be able to adhere to all department and facility safety protocols.
- ARRT(CT) certification required
- Must have 2 years of CT experience
- Excellent communication skills
$44/hr
The rate provided is based on industry standards for candidates with 0 - 5 years of experience. Salary determinations will be made based on numerous factors including but not limited to years of experience, education and operational needs.
