Summary:
- Collect pay-to-play fees from parents/guardians, write receipts
- Turn in fees to Accounting
- Track fees collected and spent in a spreadsheet
- Hire coaches- make sure all volunteer paperwork is complete
- Coordinate practice schedules
- Attend practices at least once per week
- Communicate team roster to set up dinners with Edibles Rex
- Attend all games (when schedule allows)
- Conduct parent meeting before the season
- Order uniforms, warm-ups, equipment
- Hand out and collect all athletes registration paperwork, physicals
- Organize, file, and track all paperwork collected
- Communicate with the league directors
- Attend league meetings at the discretion of Athletic Director
- Type out schedule with snack assignments and handout to student-athletes
- Frequent grade checks for all student-athletes
- Behavior tracking of all student athletes- coordinate with teachers and other staff
- Parent communication regarding grades and behavior issues
- Uniform inventory- start and end
- Equipment inventory- start and end
- Player transportation as needed
- Communicate game results to staff and student body at community circle
- Coordinate end of the season banquet for all student-athletes and guests
- Design and order t-shirt or other team apparel for athletes and parents
I ■ Assist with Network Athletics projects across all districts
Assist with developing the exposure and reach of UPrep Athletics as needed
Qualifications:Desired Competencies:
- Organize games
- Organize all sports and associated activities
- Organize end-of-year banquet
- Attend planning meetings
- Lead parent meetings
- Effective Communication with other athletic coordinators, coaches, students and parents
Education/Experience:
- High School Diploma or higher
- K-1 2 Ml education experience
- Strong organizational skills
- Strong communication skills
