If you have proven student housing experience, we want you on our team.Job PurposeThe Maintenance Supervisor ensures the physical integrity, safety, and functionality of the community. This role leads the maintenance team, oversees preventive and corrective work, and delivers excellent service to residents and staff.Key ResponsibilitiesLeadership & Team ManagementSupervise, train, and schedule maintenance staff to ensure coverage during operating hours.Foster a culture of safety, accountability, and resident service.Conduct regular team meetings to review priorities, safety, and performance.Resident Service & SatisfactionOversee timely completion of work orders (24-hour response standard).Ensure quality move-ins and move-outs with thorough inspections.Maintain resident satisfaction through proactive communication and service.Preventive & Corrective MaintenanceDevelop and execute schedules for common areas, amenities, HVAC, irrigation, and pools.Conduct quarterly unit inspections and seasonal maintenance.Coordinate vendor services and review contractor work for quality.Budget & Compliance OversightManage vendor relationships and purchase supplies within budget guidelines.Adhere to OSHA/EPA standards and maintain required logs and records.Conduct monthly safety meetings and ensure compliance with ADA requirements.Property IntegrityEnsure cleanliness of grounds, breezeways, and common areas.Maintain shop organization, inventory, and equipment logs.Respond to emergencies and provide on-call coverage as needed.QualificationsStudent housing work experience required (not just preferred).2–3 years of hands-on maintenance experience (HVAC, plumbing, electrical).Supervisory experience in multifamily or student housing.HVAC/EPA certification required.Strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills.Ability to lift heavy loads, work weekends/on-call, and manage multiple priorities.Why University PartnersAt University Partners, you’ll lead a skilled team, make a direct impact on resident satisfaction, and grow your career in a supportive environment.
