About Us:

Join a professional team and work in Sarasota's premier semi-private country club and residential gated community - University Park Country Club. Must be able to work in a fast paced environment, be flexible and dependable, and perform excellent customer service. You must have weekend availability.

The food and beverage operation is open 7 days per week with lunch served Monday – Saturday and Sunday Brunch. The club is open to the public for these meal periods. Dinner which is served on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday nights is open to members and their guests only.

Host/Hostess Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Greeting guests, providing accurate wait times, and escorting customers to the dining and bar areas, and distributes menus.
• Takes reservations and includes customers on waiting list when appropriate. Handles phone calls and customer queries about the restaurant and menu.
• Assists various restaurant staff when necessary.
• For this role, you should have solid organizational and people skills to make sure our guests have a positive dining experience from the moment they arrive till their departure.
• Ability to work on a tablet and Club's software.
• You should also be available to work in shifts.
• Be professional and present a positive company image.

Hourly Wage: $16.50 per hour

Please note: this is a non-tipped position.
