The Resch School of Engineering at the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay seeks applicants for an Assistant Teaching Professor position in Engineering.
This position will be responsible for enhancing UW-Green Bay’s mission-driven inclusive teaching efforts and creating and maintaining an educational environment that acknowledges, encourages, and celebrates those with diverse identities, beliefs, and cultural backgrounds.
The candidate will be expected to display a commitment to undergraduate education and possess communication and interpersonal skills sufficient to work effectively with a diverse array of program partners.

Position is a full-time, academic year, non-tenure track Instructional Academic Staff appointment. A pre-employment education check which includes, but is not limited to, the verification of academic credentials will be conducted on the finalist(s). A criminal conviction investigation will be conducted on the finalist(s). - Perform institutional service and contribute to the ongoing programmatic development within the Resch School of Engineering
- Utilize teaching strategies that support the access mission of the University
- Perform assessment associated with ABET accreditation
- Teach general education courses, such as Ethics in Engineering and Science and Engineering in Global Context, that support the Resch School of Engineering’s mission of contributing to the University’s core curriculum and lower level engineering courses, such as Fundamentals of Engineering Technology, Engineering Materials, Chemistry for Engineers, Basic and Green Manufacturing Processes, and Computer Aided Design
- Teach a load of 27 contact hours including lower level courses to support UWGB’s engineering and engineering technology programs
