Job Summary
This position is designated as a Clery Act Campus Security Authority (CSA). CSA's are obligated to report all Clery Act qualifying crimes which occur on campus, in public areas bordering campus and in certain non-campus buildings owned or controlled (leased) by the University to the proper channels. Complete annual mandatory training. CSAs who deliberately fail to report crimes may be subject to appropriate discipline, including being barred from holding any CSA position in the future.

NCAA Recruitment certification and CPR/First Aid certification(may be obtained upon hire)
Required Experience
Must have experience as a former collegiate softball or baseball playing experience; at least 2 years experience as a graduate assistant or assistant coach at JUCO, NAIA or NCAA college level.

Preferred Experience
Collegiate Softball pitching experience either playing and/or coaching.

$32,700.00
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
ABILITIES
Ability to teach another skill set outside of pitching such as hitting, base running, slapping, infield or outfield skills and have camp experience is required.
Candidates must be physically able to teach/instruct student athletes and perform other physical duties in both hot and cold temperatures. The position requires working early mornings, nights and weekends. Must be able to work outdoors and possibly in inclement weather, and travel for recruitment and off-campus games, including out of state.
KNOWLEDGE
Knowledge of the game of softball as well as the rules and safety practices of the game.
SKILLS
The candidate must have excellent communication skills, organization skills, interacting with others in a professional manner and adhere to NCAA Division II and Gulf South Conference rules and regulations
