Description
- Provide first-level hardware and software support for client systems, including, but not limited to:
- Set up and installation of new systems
- Diagnose and repair hardware/software issues
- Hardware/software configuration recommendations
- Maintaining classroom equipment
- Perform installation and maintenance for various equipment, such as:
- Audio/visual systems
- Staff workstations
- Printers, copiers, and other peripheral devices
- Other supported university IT equipment
- Provide professional user support:
- Assist users with day-to-day computer-related problems
- Maintain excellent customer service relationships
- Properly document all work in an organized manner
FSA: Non-Exempt

Qualifications
Required:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a technical support or customer service role.
- Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems and hardware/software troubleshooting.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Attention to detail and excellent problem-solving abilities.
- Dedication to maintaining high standards of customer service.
Desired:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Familiarity with audio/visual systems and networking principles.
- Additional IT education or IT industry certifications.
