Application Analyst

The Epic Professional Billing Analyst I provides analysis, technical support, and maintenance for software that supports professional billing. The individual is responsible for assessing user needs and developing solutions that align with organizational, regulatory, and IT bestpractice standards. The Analyst I develops a clear understanding of the software and tools required to meet enduser needs while following established guidelines. Responsibilities include collaborating with end users, vendors, and internal IT staff to support business processes and ensure cohesive integration of the software applications with operational workflows and billing regulations.

The Epic Professional Billing Analyst I support could include a subspecialty in designing and delivering training documentation for software used in business processes. This includes business analysis, training materials, user guides, building, testing, and maintaining training environments.

The Epic Professional Billing Analyst I may be required to provide support coverage 24 hours per day, 7 days per week. The ability and means to regularly travel throughout the UVM Health Network may be required.

Education:
* A bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field is strongly preferred.
* For Epic Application support, certification is required within 120 days of hire with a maximum of three attempts.

Experience:
* Preferred: Experience with application support and/or implementation.
* Alternatively: 1 or more years of relevant operational experience in lieu of direct system support.

The role of Application Analyst includes multiple levels. The hiring team reserves the right to determine appropriate level placement of our final candidate.
