POSITION SUMMARY
Under the general direction of the VP of Support Services, the Director of Plant Facilities/Security has overall departmental management responsibilities for building maintenance and facility upkeep for all Medical Center facilities. Ensures compliance with JCAHO, VOSHA, and CMS State and Federal Regulations. Provides direction for the Plant facilities staff
EDUCATION
BS in architecture, mechanical, electrical or civil engineering.
BASIC KNOWLEDGE
Duties require a broad knowledge of hospital plant engineering and maintenance, equivalent to a college degree in Engineering.
EXPERIENCE
5-7 years of experience in a healthcare facility with 3-5 years in a responsible supervisory capacity. At least 1 year JCAHO survey inspection experience required.
