Typically, manages the front desk, organizes files, and performs other clerical duties associated with research studies and programs. Recruits participants, verifies eligibility, and enrolls subjects. Schedules participant visits and maintains records. Transports samples or laboratory equipment. Responsibilities
Job Responsibilities:
The work will involve assisting with the collection of air samples in various clinical locations on the University of Utah campus (e.g., dental school, hospital). Training will be provided on various pieces of research-grade air sampling equipment that will be used, including: BioVIVAS, Grimm, and TSI Q-Trak. Management and statistical analysis of air sampling data will be required. There may be an opportunity for limited work in a BSL2 laboratory and obtaining informed consent from clinical patients. The person would be expected to attend periodic meetings with the research team.
