POSITION SUMMARY
Responsible for the end-to-end strategy, execution and delivery of the recruitment process in coordination with the Human Resources team and organizational stakeholders. Creates and executes strategic physician, provider and other key position recruitment strategies related to attracting and hiring qualified candidates. Develops and maintains relationships with physicians, APP's and key medical professionals. Fulfills all duties in a manner that reflects the mission and values of UTP
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS AND ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Work with hiring managers and Human Resource partners to manage full-cycle recruitment process, including developing job descriptions, contracts and sourcing and diversity strategies (internal/external, and agency and direct sourcing/networking methods)
- Source applicants, screen resumes, interview, and assess candidates to provide qualified candidates to hiring managers; facilitate feedback to key stakeholders to ensure timely production of appropriate documentation and approval
- Negotiate candidate offers, research markets and peer organizations, and provide stakeholders with market data and activity information
- Ensure all hiring policies and procedures are adhered to and that best practice recruitment guidelines are administered throughout the recruitment process; appropriately assess risk when hiring decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for UTP’s reputation by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment
- Builds growing applicant sources by researching and contacting Physicians, medical graduate programs, medical societies, PA and Nurse Practitioner programs and local professional groups, other recruiters, professional medical journals.
- Provides updated organizational information, describes opportunities and benefits; makes presentations; and maintains ongoing rapport with all candidates.
- Manages new Physician, PA, NP introductions to UTP, arranges visits and provides specified company and community introductions.
- Remains current on healthcare issues that affect UTP and its recruitment efforts; maintains talent community and sourcing strategies that relate to market and are current with healthcare environment
- Proactively sources physician and other candidates through on-line job boards and other internet sources, direct mail, advertising, state/national medical organizations, database mining, career fairs and medical specialty meetings
- Utilize Applicant Tracking System to facilitate recruitment process and produce candidate and job progress reports
- Continually develops and improves upon processes, procedures, policies and techniques to recruit physician; maintains reports and communication to leadership and other stakeholders
- Other duties as assigned in support of the HR Department’s success and overall organizational mission.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Skills:
- A genuine interest in recruiting technology and tools as shown by continuous learning throughout career; high-level proficiency managing an ATS
- Proficiency with MS Office; especially Excel
- Proven ability to develop a successful sourcing strategy
- Demonstrated track record of excellence in sourcing and assessing top talent – physician, provider and/or medical a strong plus
- Critical Thinker, ability to problem solve, fast paced, committed and reliable
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written; Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information
- Ability to work effectively and efficiently independently as well as in a group setting
- Service-minded, team-oriented and exceptionally calm under pressure
Years of Experience:
- 3 years’ experience in Talent Acquisition, RPO, Recruitment or Staffing with demonstrated success
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Education: Coursework or degree in Human Resources or applicable field.
Skills:
- Experience with HR software; HRIS and ATS systems – PageUp and ADP knowledge a plus
- Experience with Physician Recruitment process and support
- Strong marketing and sourcing skills; experience with LinkedIn and other Social Media
