Adjunct Faculty – Psychology
University of the West (UWest)
The Department of Psychology at the University of the West invites applications for adjunct faculty positions to teach graduate and post-graduate courses in our Psychology programssuch as the following subjects:
- Advanced Seminar in Psychotherapy and Culture
- Buddhist Counseling
- Marriage and Family Therapy (MFT) Theories
- Multicultural Counseling
- Psychopathology
- Psychopharmacology
- Psychological Testing
- Sex, Sexuality, and Gender
- Stigma, Dislocation, and Poverty
- Trauma and Resiliency
Must be available to teach on campus or in hybrid format (Hybrid/Remote or Hybrid/Campus).
Required Qualifications: Doctoral Degree in Psychology (Clinical, Developmental, MFT, Educational)
Preference will be given to those with evidence of excellence in teaching, scholarship, and mentoring.
Preferred Qualifications: licensed in CA or eligible for licensure within 12-18 months of hiring. Ability to teach courses in Chinese Mandarin a great plus
