Assistant Professor Positions
*Preference will be given to applicants with active grant funding or those with promising grant scores.
Successful Candidates are Expected To:
- Develop and/or maintain a research program in nursing/health science.
- Teach and advise undergraduate and/or graduate students.
- Provide service to the school of nursing, the university, the community and the profession.
Required Qualifications:
- Earned doctorate
- Evidence of post-doctoral training
- Strong track record of data-based publications
- Evidence of, or strong potential for an extramurally funded program of research in the areas of oncology, gerontology, cardiovascular, or health informatic technology.
Strongly Preferred:
Eligibility for RN licensure in the State of Texas
