Job Details:
The Biology Instructional Office in the College of Natural Sciences is developing a pool of candidates for part time and full time instructional support specialist positions for the upcoming academic year. The instructional support specialist will act as a teaching assistant for undergraduate biology courses. Positions are not available every semester.
The instructional support specialist may be assigned to 1 undergraduate courses offered by the following departments in the College of Natural Sciences: Biology Instructional Office, Molecular Biology, Integrative Biology, and Neuroscience. Positions are offered by semester.

Employment Eligibility:
Regular staff who have been employed in their current position for the last six continuous months are eligible for openings being recruited for through University-Wide or Open Recruiting, to include both promotional opportunities and lateral transfers. Retirement Plan Eligibility:
The retirement plan for this position is Teacher Retirement System of Texas (TRS), subject to the position being at least 20 hours per week and at least 135 days in length.
