What are the responsibilities and job description for the Temporary Laborer - Tennessee Athletics - UTK Temp position at University of Tennessee and Careers?

Under direct supervision, the Laborer will assist with the maintenance of the buildings and surrounding areas associated with Athletics.

General cleaning, including but not limited to, offices, lavatories, waste/recycle removal, and public areas.
Special projects and other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
Ability to be active for 8 hours of walking.
Ability to stand, lift, and have good balance.
Ability to read, write, and follow oral/written instructions.
Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
Able to do the following: high dusting, vacuuming, wet mopping, trash removal, stairwell cleaning, snow shoveling, window washing, lavatory cleaning, etc.
Ability to work weekends, home football game dates, and have open availability.

Preferred Qualifications

Education: High school diploma or GED. Vocational or technical training.
Experience: 3-5 years of work experience.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
Understanding of chemicals, supplies, and equipment.
