As a member of the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum staff, you will maintain USC Athletic Fields in support of Trojan Athletics and Big Ten Conference competition.

The hourly rate range for this position is $17.87 - $24.04. When determining an offer, the University of Southern California considers factors such as the scope and responsibilities of the role, the candidate’s experience, education, training, key skills, internal peer alignment, applicable laws, contractual requirements, grant funding, and market conditions.
Minimum Education: Less than high school. Minimum Experience: 0 - 6 months. Minimum Field of Expertise: 0-6 months experience. Basic knowledge of field sports, gardening and ground maintenance. Demonstrated use of tools and equipment (including power tools). Minimal familiarity with common plant species, landscaping and cultivation. Familiar with standard safety practices using equipment and other requirements for workplace safety.

- Maintain condition and appearance of all athletic fields, intramural fields, and stadiums.
- Prepare fields and stadiums for intercollegiate sports activities, by lining, marking, turf maintenance, and fertilization.
- Use and maintain power tools and other equipment.
- Prepare soil for planting.
- Sweep walkways and otherwise maintain paved areas.
- Perform other related duties as assigned or requested. The University reserves the right to add or change duties at any time.
- Minimum Education: High School Diploma not required.
- Minimum Experience: 0-6 months.
- Minimum Field of Expertise: Basic knowledge of field sports, gardening and ground maintenance. Demonstrated use of tools and equipment (including power tools). Minimal familiarity with common plant species, landscaping and cultivation. Familiar with standard safety practices using equipment and other requirements for workplace safety.
- Valid CA driver's license required. Position will participate in the Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) Pull Notice System. A copy of DMV record will be required as a final condition of employment. For more information, please visit the policy website.
