The Surgical Services Coordinator is responsible for managing and coordinating all clinical and surgical encounters for patients, including clinic appointments, referrals, authorizations, presurgical requirements, and surgery scheduling. Serving as the primary administrative contact, this role ensures that patients' needs are facilitated efficiently and accurately across the care team. The coordinator optimizes provider schedules through effective template management and collaborates closely with Medical Assistants to ensure patients are scheduled appropriately. This role works in partnership with Revenue Cycle Operations to obtain authorizations, provide copay and coinsurance notifications, and support collection processes. The Surgical Services Coordinator oversees all activities related to surgical scheduling-from preoperative orders through completion of the procedure-to prevent gaps that could impact surgical timing and to ensure an exceptional, safe patient experience.

- Minimum one (1) - two (2) years' experience in a clinical setting
