We seek candidates with expertise and/or established track records who will build and sustain strong independent research programs that are closely aligned with major research initiatives in the EE department, e.g., the USC Research Institute for Extreme Semiconductor Chips. Examples of research areas include, but are not limited to, Extra-wide bandgap material epitaxy using metalorganic chemical vapor deposition ( MOCVD ), power electronic and optoelectronic devices design, processing, characterization and monolithic integration.
