Academic Advisor (Student Services Program Coordinator II), Salary: $44,296 – $54,263 per year, USCA Academic Advisement (2 Positions)
To provide proactive, holistic, and intrusive academic advising as part of the Office of Academic Advising. Academic Advisors monitor and document student progress, initiate outreach during critical points in the semester, and assist students in developing academic degree plans and short- and long-term goals. Advisors teach and empower students to effectively utilize university tools, resources, and technology that promote academic success, persistence, and degree completion. Advisors also provide individualized course recommendations while considering university graduation requirements, program curriculum, and each student’s unique academic needs and goals. Minimum requirements: Bachelor’s degree in a job related field and 2 or more years of job related experience, which may be substituted by an equivalent combination of job related certification, training, education, and/or experience. Preferred: Experience in academic advisement, counseling, or other student service area in Higher Education. Experience with Banner, DegreeWorks, EAB Navigate, or related student management and advisement software. Application deadline: June 17, 2026. USCA is an AA/EOE.
