Responsibilities
The University of South Alabama Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at the Frederick P. Whiddon College of Medicine is seeking a talented and motivated academic joint replacement surgeon at the rank of Assistant Professor or Associate Professor to become a member of our rapidly growing clinical practice. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching, clinical practice, and conducting innovative research in joint disorders, including but not limited to arthroplasty, joint preservation, and minimally invasive techniques. This position will also involve mentorship of medical students and residents, contributing to curriculum development, and participating in departmental and interdisciplinary teams. Leadership positions are available to qualified candidates.
