The Slate Coordinator, Graduate & Student Success supports the configuration, maintenance, and daily operations of the institution's Slate CRM system for graduate admissions and student success initiatives. This entry-level role focuses on data management, communication workflows, reporting, and system support to ensure an exceptional experience for prospective graduate and enrolled students.

The Slate Coordinator, Graduate & Student Success supports the configuration, maintenance, and daily operations of the institution's Slate CRM system for graduate admissions and student success initiatives. This entry-level role focuses on data management, communication workflows, reporting, and system support to ensure an exceptional experience for prospective graduate and enrolled students.
Essential Duties
- Assist with configuration and maintenance of Slate forms, portals, workflows, populations, queries, and events related to graduate recruitment and student success initiatives
- Support communication campaigns (email, SMS, portal messaging) for graduate prospects, applicants, and enrolled students
- Maintain and update application workflows, document management processes, and review queues
- Perform data imports, exports, and data quality checks to ensure system integrity
- Support graduate admissions processes, including application setup, decision workflows, and enrollment tracking
- Collaborate with Student Success stakeholders to configure retention and engagement tools within Slate (e.g., alerts, advising workflows, onboarding communications)
- Assist in creating dashboards and reports for enrollment funnel metrics, student engagement, and retention outcomes
- Build and maintain Slate queries and reports for internal stakeholders
- Provide ad hoc data extracts and analytics to support strategic planning and assessment
- Partner with Financial Aid, Institutional Research and IT to ensure data consistency between Slate, Banner/SIS, and other institutional systems
- Provide day-to-day support to Graduate Admissions and Student Success users, including troubleshooting and documentation
- Develop and maintain user guides and training materials for Slate functionality
- Assist with training staff on best practices in Slate usage and data entry standards
- Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and enhance automation within Slate
- Stay current on Slate features, releases, and best practices and recommend enhancements
- Participate in cross-functional projects related to CRM strategy, student lifecycle management, and digital transformation initiatives
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy and integrity
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets; familiarity with databases and reporting tools is a plus
- The ability to uphold human dignity and respect by recognizing each person’s worth, valuing diverse perspectives, and treating others with kindness, fairness, and empathy
- Must be able to respect, support and contribute to the University’s Catholic and Jesuit mission
- Bachelor’s degree is required
Minimum Job Experience Requirements:
- One (1) year of experience with Slate CRM
- Experience in higher education admissions, student success, or enrollment management
- Basic knowledge of HTML, SQL, or data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a plus
- Demonstrated interest in CRM systems, data analytics, or enrollment strategy
