Essential Duties
Teaching and advising students, departmental and university service
Additional Skills Required
Minimum Education Requirements:
Master’s degree in a relevant area or MBA
Preferred Education
Minimum Job Experience Requirements:
We seek a Public Relations industry professional with a specialty in social media ready to transition into academia. The successful candidate will contribute across our PR/Social Media curriculum (e.g., foundational ad/public relations/social media course, public relations writing, social media communication, capstone campaign courses) and support experiential learning and student mentorship.
Preference is given to candidates with 5 years of industry experience who can teach current best practices using an agency approach. We value high-impact teaching methods. In addition, the ideal candidate would be AI fluent and able to address corporate branding and crisis and issue management. Additional consideration will be given to candidates willing to advise the student newspaper.
