POSITION SUMMARY:
The Division of Business and Information Technologies at the University of Saint Mary is seeking an adjunct instructor to teach a graduate-level managerial marketing course. The course is to be taught on-ground (face-to-face) at our Overland Park Campus.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Ability to teach graduate-level marketing course;
- Deliver curriculum appropriate for the course assigned;
- Maintain effective and timely student assessment and feedback;
- Manage and foster an inclusive educational environment to serve all learners;
- Maintain student attendance records in accordance with university policy;
- Maintain office hours for student contact and support;
- Submit attendance and final grades on time;
- Demonstrate professionalism with students, faculty, staff, and administration;
- Complete all required training, including LMS and HR compliance;
- Maintain expertise in current teaching and discipline technologies;
- Earned Doctorate (PhD, DBA) in Business Administration, or Doctorate (PhD, DBA) in a business marketing-related field from an accredited institution with Business Administration related industry experience
- Master’s degree in Marketing or Marketing-related field in combination with appropriate industry experience.
- At least two years of full-time (or full-time equivalent) teaching experience in higher education.
- Professional written and verbal communication skills.
- Additionally, candidates should have an affinity to the mission of the university.
- Must be eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship.
