Job Description Summary
POSITION SUMMARY:
Under general supervision, perform research including data analysis and
assist with experiments including preparation and cleanup. Research may
involve animal care and handling.
Duties and Responsibilities
Key Duties And Responsibilities
Under general supervision, assist in conducting research studies involving
adult human participants.
Assist with participant recruitment, screening, and informed consent procedures in accordance with institutional and regulatory guidelines.
Collect, manage, and analyze human subject data, including electrophysiological measures.
Maintain accurate research records and ensure compliance with IRB and institutional policies.
Operate and maintain research equipment used in human subject testing (e.g., BIODEX, EMG systems, etc.).
Other Duties And Responsibilities
Perform other duties as required.
Required Qualifications
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Preferred Qualifications Environmental Conditions
The incumbent is not substantially exposed to adverse environmental
conditions.

Required Qualifications
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in a STEM or health-related field (e.g., biology, neuroscience, kinesiology, public health) with some level of experience in human subjects or clinical research.
- Demonstrated experience working with adult human participants in a research or clinical setting, including participant interaction and data collection.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, with research participants and interdisciplinary team members.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage professionally and sensitively with diverse adult populations.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively within a research team while adhering to study protocols.
- Familiarity with human subjects protections, including informed consent procedures and Institutional Review Board (IRB) requirements.
