Requirements:
- PhD in Molecular Biology, Virology, Cellular Biology
- Hands-on experience with AAV vector production and characterization.
- Proficiency in cell culture, cloning, and viral QC assays.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills; ability to work independently.
- Background in ophthalmology, retinal biology, or neuroscience.
- Familiarity with retinal disease models and ocular vector delivery methods.
- Familiarity with other common molecular biology techniques
- Optimize and scale AAV production, purification, and QC workflows.
- Conduct molecular cloning, transfection, viral packaging, and titration assays (qPCR/ddPCR).
- Collaborate across research teams to design experiments and interpret data.
- Present data during lab and consortium meetings and conferences
- Maintain detailed experimental documentation, SOPs, and safety compliance.
- Mentor junior lab members and participate in lab meetings and publications.
