Essential Functions
- Manage resources, optimize performance of in-house higher education projects during the construction phase; provides technical guidance as needed during the project construction phase.
- Ensures compliance, develops a scope of work that accurately reflects the client’s needs and university standards.
- Establishes and manages preliminary budget; ensures the approval of project funding; reviews and approves applications for payment.
- Coordinates with clients, in-house trades, engineers, architects, and contractors to complete project; identifies potential issues and takes preventative measures.
- Maintains proper records of projects and communications; updates computer records.
- Makes recommendations for project selections; obtains reviews; coordinates with others to meet goals and objectives.
