What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant Men's and Women's Soccer Coach position at University of Pittsburgh?
The University of Pittsburgh Johnstown invites cover letters and resumes for immediate review for the position of Assistant Men’s/Women’s Soccer Coach. Pitt-Johnstown is a long-term member of the NCAA Division II and a 13-year member of the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC). The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the head coaches of both the Men’s and Women’s Soccer teams in all areas of the soccer programs, including: recruitment of high quality student-athletes, academic success of the student-athletes, practice preparation, travel, equipment procurement, fundraising, game preparation, film exchange, and additional duties as assigned. The assistant coach will also be responsible for supporting the head coaches in upholding the philosophy, goals, and mission of the University, the Department of Athletics, and the Soccer program. Prior coaching and/or college playing experience is preferred.
A High School Diploma or GED is required for this position and a Bachelor's degree is Preferred.
