Key Responsibilities
- Establish one on one relationships with students to support academic success and facilitate an environment that encourages a sense of belonging.
- Works with students to provide academic coaching and advocacy, including assessment of academic needs
- Support students with improving time management, creating an organizational system and developing study skills
- Monitors student performance and resolves student issues with the implementation of academic resources and/or programs.
- Develop workshops and small group activities on issues that negatively impact their academic success.
- Must demonstrate successful experience tutoring, coaching, mentoring or instructional support
- Experience providing individualized academic support to high school and/or college students
- Proficiency with techology and online academic support tools
- Ability to effectively engage individuals from diverse educational, cultural, and socio-economic backgrounds.
- Bachelor's degree in education, counseling, STEM or related field from an accredited college or university.
