The Department of Cell and Developmental Biology at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for a Research Associate position in the Academic Support Staff. This appointment will be initially for one (1) year and continuation during that time period and renewal are based on satisfactory performance and availability of funding (limited to three (3) years). Expertise is required in the specific area of Time-lapse imaging, confocal microscopy, mouse embryology, image analysis. Applicants must have a Ph.D. degree.
Responsibilities may include Investigation of early mammalian development using molecular, cellular and imaging-based approaches and performing advanced imaging studies in intact developing mouse embryos.
The successful applicant will have an opportunity to Further develop expertise in embryology and live-imaging technologies.
Candidate should have a minimum of 3-5 years of post-doctoral experience in the field
